As I read through the assigned chapters;the Podcasting 101 article and various database articles, I could not find a single documented con about this form of technology. I think podcasting is a great medium for auditory learners. I had a chance to listen to some of instructional podcasts created by children. I especially liked the one about the ear. The students became teachers by way of their podcasts.
I guess if there is one dowside to podcasting, it may be the visual limitations. Is there a way to make a podcast with animation rather than just pictures?

Have you heard of "podfading"? I had not heard of it beforehand, and from what I understand, it is a situation whereby someone is all enthusiastic about podcasting and then, in a very short period of time becomes overwhelmed and lets it sit until it dies. Podcasting graveyard?
